Breit, Craig
Faculty
Craig Breit, M.A in Communications. He is a Professor of Radio-Television at Cerritos College, also part-time instructor at Santa Ana College. Craig has been with PSI for 25 years teaching communications seminars.
Brown, Michael

Michael C. Brown, President of Michael C. Brown & Associates, has over 24 years of training and education in the management arena. Michael has been involved in the development, implementation and delivery of numerous management and sales programs that have received critical acclaim. He is recognized by his peers and those who have attended his progrms as one of the most dynamic, creative and business minded trainers and facilitators in his field.
Cortez, David
Faculty
David Cortez has a MPA from UCLA and a BA from CSUF. He has spent ove 10 years in local government teaching Human Resources related seminars such as supervision, performance appraisals, grievance handling, discipline, and leadership. Currently David is employed by the UCI Human Resources Department as a Human Resources Consultant and teaches part-time at Santiago Canyon College.

Dianne, BA in English from Humboldt State U., is the Coordinator for the PSI Business Seminar program. With over 10 years as a business manager in the employment industry, she has brought strong managerial, organizational and supervisory skills from the private sector experience to the field of education. PSI flourishes under her leadership as she and her staff effectively provide quality service to our participating agencies/companies and their employees.
Gibson, John
Faculty
John B. Gibson has a BSEE degree from West Virginia University Institute of Technology and has completed post graduate studies in business management, technology, and advanced mathematics through Eastern Michigan University and Golden Gate University. He has extensive experience in the use of technology in business. John has worked on major projects for IBM, Compaq Computer, and others. He is President of United Intelligence Corp., www.united-intelligence.com, is a consultant for the Institute for Women Intrepreneurs, IWE, www.ociwe.org , the OC Small Business Development Center, www.ocsbdc.org , and California Manufacturing Technology consultants, www.cmtc.com
Gordon, Dennis J.

Dennis J. Gordon, BS in Business Management, University of Tulsa and MBA in Finance, Rockhurst University. He is a principal in the DJ Gordon Group which is a managment and financial services consulting practice and he is a licensed Real Estate Broker in California. His extensive background covers 25 years of work in the field of business management and ownership.

Dr. Harmon has been an adjunct faculty member of PSI/Business Divsion of SAC since 1980. He has conducted courses on Building Self-Esteem, Reducing Destructive Stress, Managing Conflict on the Job, and Getting the Life and Job Satisfaction You Want. He is co-author with Marge Jarmin of a book for teens and pre-teens, entitled Taking Charge of Your Life.

Mr. Hoffman has extensive background in assisting and developing small and start-up businesses. He established and directed a business incubator for RSCCD. He assisted hundreds of businesses as the economic development manager for the city of Anaheim and as Director of the Southwest Los Angeles County Small Business Development Center. His entrepreneurial experience includes the start-up and management of a construction company and working as an independent contractor in a commercial real estate brokerage.

Professor Howe is the faculty coordinator of the PSI Business Seminar program. He developed the Public Service Institute in 1980 and served as its Director and first faculty member. He also serves as the Department Chair of the Management, Marketing, International Business, and PSI Business Seminars Department.

Ramesh Sabetiashraf, M.S. in Computer Science, has been with Santa Ana College since 1988, and has taught a number of computer science courses since 1993. He owns a business in software development and has designed and developed several e-commerce, academic, and administrative applications and websites.

As a business owner herself, Sallie is committed to broadening the reach of business training and consulting to individuals that are starting, growing or expanding their small businesses.
Story, Forrest

Forrest Story, M.P.A., in Public Administration. Has been with PSI for over 15 years teaching Supervision and Customer Service type seminars. Forrest has retired from the County of Orange and now has his own successful business offering business training seminars.
Strople, Kathy

Kathy Strople earned her BS, in Business Administration/Finance at CSU, Long Beach as well as her M.P.A. She has thirty years of professional business experience divided equally between private industry and the public sector. From 1990 until 2006 she worked as principal appraiser and quality assurance with the Orange County Assessor's office.
Sweetnam, Shari

Dr. Shari Sweetnam is a nationally syndicated columnist of the popular column: "Ask Dr. Shari." Dr. Sweetnam hosts a weekly radio show out of the midwest and is host of the television version of "The Dr. Shari Show" out of Hollywood, CA. She is the author of "Inspiring the Love of Learning" and "memory Techniques for Everyone." She has been a guest on radio and TV shows nationwide and was recently featured on the cover of "Today's Woman" magazine.
Tanner, Christopher

Chris Tanner earned his degrees at Cal State U. at Fullerton. His first BA is in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Information Systems and Decision Sciences and Marketing. His second BA is in Communications with a concentration in Advertising. Besides working as a consultant for small businesses in the private sector, Chris is an instructor in the PSI program and has been with us for over 10 years. His expertise extends from office automation to web design and graphics, which he teaches in the PSI Microsoft Access, Excel, Visio, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Web Page Development and Adobe Acrobat classes.
Tinervia, Joe
Faculty
Joe T. served in editorial positions with Fortune 100 book publishers in New York City. He was Managing Editor with Macmillan, Editor in Chief with ITT, and Editorial Director with McGraw-Hill Book Company. He has coauthored several bestselling business writing, grammar, and communications texts, including the first proofreading text ever published. Joe has conducted teacher-trainer workshops on English grammar and business writing at business education conferences nationwide, and he has conducted seminars for PSI for more than 15 years.
White, Carol
Faculty
Ms. White has a B.S. degree in Business Education from CSULA where she has also completed two years in Instructional Technology. She has her California Community College Credential in Business, Industrial Management and Marketing and Distribution. She taught marketing and merchandising classes at Pasadena City College and Woodbury University prior to transitioning to teaching Business Computer Applications at PCC. Ms. White currently teaches Access, Word, Excel and PowerPoint at both Pasadena City and Golden West Colleges and has taught Access, Excel and Word for the PSI program at Santa Ana College, since 1997.
Wood, Tudi
Faculty
Tudi Wood, B.S., in Education. She has been with PSI for over 9 years and also teaches part-time at Irvine Valley and Saddleback College. She is one of our outstanding computer instructors teaching Excel, Access, and Word in the Microsoft Office Suite.
